Christmas in Chislehurst Art Competition
Between 4-4.30pm on the day of the Christmas market we will be switching on our Christmas lights and one lucky child will get to press the big red button and light up the high street.
Sarah from SJ Hamilton Art has kindly sponsored this competition and all you have to do is create your own Christmas stamp!
So, get creative, think outside the box and design your own christmassy scene. There will also be 2 runner up prizes (0-6 and 7 and above).
You can print a copy of the form at home by clicking here!
This competition runs from 1st November to 16th November.
Once you have completed your stamp, your entry can be dropped to the reception at Linklater & Warren Opticians 30A High Street.
If you can’t print the form, you can collect one from their reception and drop it back once done.
The winner will be contacted on 18th November (so don’t forget to put your parents / guardians contacts details on the back of the form).
Our Sponsors
A big thank you to ours sponsors:
Michelle Sidwell Academy of Dance
Chislehurst Chiropractic Clinic
Also, a special thanks to our business members, who pay towards the Christmas lights each year.
Prepare for the day
The high street will be closed to traffic from 6am on 20th November. There will be diversions in place, but we would like to encourage anyone coming from the local area to walk, as there will be limited parking available.
Don’t forget to bring both Cash and Cards to get your Christmas shopping started early and pop a reusable bag in your pocket for your purchases.
Visit Chislehurst has an official photographer at this event – Clare Herriot who will be taking photographs during the day for reporting/future marketing purposes on our social media pages and website. If you would prefer NOT to be photographed, please tell Clare.
Wrap up warm, don’t forget your gloves, but most importantly enjoy the day.
This event is organised and run by the volunteers from Visit Chislehurst with the help of Lollipop Events. If you would like to show your support, you can pop by the Visit Chislehurst Bar for a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. There will also be donations buckets around the event, these are being run by local charities who will receive a percentage of the donations taken during the day.
