Visitors to The Beaverwood often comment that ‘it’s a hidden gem!’ and indeed it is. Nestled in widespread grounds within the Chislehurst Conservation Area in Kent, our beautiful venue offers a large modern space allowing couples to style it to their theme, creating the wow factor that their celebration deserves.
From the initial enquiry through to the day of the wedding itself, the happy couple are looked after by our dedicated Events Team. We offer a wedding package which includes everything you need for a beautiful wedding, alternatively, if you want something bespoke, we can also arrange this too.
Either way, we only offer exclusive use, so our extensive grounds are yours for the day.
The Beaverwood can accommodate up to a maximum 150 guests for a formal sit down meal and up to 330 for an evening reception.
Resembling a marquee, this beautiful room is fully air conditioned/heated and features two well stocked bars, one at each end of the room, and a dance floor complete with disco lights. The entrance lobby offers a perfect space for an inside drinks reception and photo booth which we have available to hire in house.
Offering high end catering, our caterers, Relish, can prepare anything from a posh barbecue to a show stopping banquet and special dietary needs are catered for. All their food is locally sourced and cooked with passion.
The Beaverwood is licensed to hold civil ceremonies either in the Club House, or in our gorgeous outdoor pagoda which overlooks paddocks and fields.
Elegant Chivari chairs are provided for the ceremony and the pagoda is equipped with a sophisticated sound system complete with lapel microphones so that everyone can hear the all important “I do”. As a precaution, we also dress the Club House just in case it should rain.
At night, hundreds of beautiful fairy lights illuminate the pagoda. Our immaculate grounds offer an amazing area for photographs and are perfect for playing games, socialising or just sitting and enjoying the space. There are outside tables and chairs with parasols, as well as a seating area on the terrace complete with outside heater should it get a bit nippy in the evening. Most weddings go on until midnight, but for those hardy souls who want to carry on dancing, we offer a late night extension until 1 am.
It can be said of The Beaverwood that we can arrange everything, if requested. As well as handling the administration involved in booking the ceremony, we have trusted suppliers that we work with every week. We also have our own photographic studio on site and can provide a full photographic service from a stylish engagement shoot right through to the romantic ‘first dance’.
Recognising the location, versatility and space The Beaverwood offers, our venue was chosen by the BBC for the filming of an episode of their popular CBBC programme ‘Marrying Mum and Dad’. The actual wedding ceremony was even filmed here, complete with Bromley Registrar,and the programme was broadcast last year.
Whilst offering an amazing outside space which is surrounded by fields and ancient woods, The Beaverwood is conveniently located just off the A20 with the M25 (junction 3), only ten minutes away. In addition, The Beaverwood has ample private car parking and offers easy access for guests with mobility requirements as most of the site is on one level.
Besides weddings, The Beaverwood is also available for private venue hire and is perfect for parties, balls and proms.
The Beaverwood is pleased to be a member of the Chislehurst Business Group and to have been a finalist in the Kent Wedding Awards. We were also awarded a 2017 Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor.
