Couch To 5K Club

Spring into action this March, by joining our Couch to 5K programme including a muscle releasing yoga stretch class after your run!

Feeling a little sluggish? Stuck in a rut and completely unmotivated? We have all been through a very long and tough couple of years. Here at Deva we really do understand just how difficult it has become to get ourselves going and we all know that exercise is proven to boost our mood and overall wellbeing. The benefits really are endless, just by getting your body and mind moving.

Many people like the idea of going for a “run” especially as the mornings and evenings start to get lighter. However, it can be daunting doing it on your own and knowing where/how to start. Our 9 week programme will support absolute beginners as well as those looking to get back into running. You will be taken, week by week through the various stages, progressing up to running a 5k by week 9. Your group run with us on a Wednesday will be followed by a yoga stretch class to ease out tired muscles, giving you the perfect cool down. You will then need to complete 2 other runs in your own time each week. We will complete our programme by doing a local 5k Park Run all together!
