Calming the Mind with Meditation Session One

Emma returns to Deva this month to share her in-depth knowledge and experience on the subject of Meditation.

She will be exploring and teaching how to calm the mind using meditation and how to bring that calmness into our daily lives.

Emma has a natural ability to teach and to provide simple ways and techniques to calm the mind, as-well as teaching us the skills needed to support us through challenging situations, using these techniques. This will include some aspect of analytical meditation, guidance and instruction for individual practitioners.

This workshop is open to all to practice and learn together based on the individual queries of participants. Please bring your queries and we will make progress together!

All levels of experience are most welcome.

Emma has spent much of the last 13 years in Bhutan and remains the only Western woman fully ordained and trained in Buddhism within Bhutan. Her decision to found a charity to help special needs children in Bhutan remains central to her life and belief in the power of compassion – Opening Your Heart to Bhutan.

This will be an interactive workshop so plenty of time and space for questions.
