Golfers are being encouraged to sign up for a networking event being held at Chislehurst Golf Club on 17th September 2018 in aid of local cause, Raise the Roof.
The golf day, sponsored by jdm Estate Agency, will help St Nicholas Primary School to meet its fundraising target for improvements to the school’s facilities.
Raise the Roof was initiated by former school governor and community champion, Donna Bompas; a passionate believer in providing creative opportunities for local people. Volunteers are working hard to realise her vision of a brand new creative arts studio at St Nicks.
Over £66k has already been raised through donations and a programme of community events.
“If golf is your thing then this is a great opportunity to network and have some fun in aid of a worthy local cause,” says one of the organisers, Paula Donovan of Amber Events.
All golfers are welcome to attend, whatever standard they play at. The cost is £100 per person. This includes breakfast, a full round of golf (either 2 or 4 ball), an optional putting competition, followed by lunch, raffle and prize-giving by Gareth Hale (one half of comedy duo, Hale & Pace).
