All the Arts Theatre School based in Chislehurst at Red Hill School and The Old Chapel are celebrating after becoming regional finalists of the national competition ’The Glee Club Challenge’. The school were invited to perform at The Orchard Theatre representing Bromley and Chislehurst ,where they sang two numbers to a packed audience of supporters. Former Brookside actress and local resident Lucy Morgans said “ As a theatre school it is important to us to offer our pupils a wide range of performance opportunities. We look for a diverse range of projects that include dance shows in the West End and locally, singing performances and also opportunities through drama’
Excitingly the school have also been selected by none other than The National Theatre to take part in their prestigious ‘Connections’ projects, which will see All the Arts work alongside National Theatre directors to produce a full-scale play that will be performed at The Ripley Arts Centre, The Bob Hope Theatre and The Albany Theatre as part of the National Theatres season of productions.Young actors from All the Arts aged 11-18 years will start rehearsing in Chislehurst in the coming weeks, watch this space for details on how to book your tickets, For more information on All the Arts and how your child or teenager can get involved visit www.allthearts.co.uk
