Chislehurst Half Marathon 2017

The parks and commons of Chislehurst have a rich history and the village is located in one of the leafiest wards of Greater London. The Chislehurst Half aims to combine the two; to showcase that history and experience a taste of the green lungs of Chislehurst to enrich runners' visit to the event.

All the surplus from race entries will go to the Maypole Project. This wonderful organisation based in Orpington requires funds to continue with its work of supporting the families of children with complex illnesses and you can find out more about this on the Maypole Project page on this site.

The course takes you through some of the green spaces of beautiful Chislehurst where London meets the countryside. The route includes Scadbury Nature Reserve which was once the home of the Walsingham family.  Take a look at the course here.
